Mumma Massage is hiring! We’re currently looking for qualified massage therapists to work part time (10 to 20 hours a week).
Mumma Massage provides a mobile service, so you will be travelling to homes around Melbourne to provide on-site massage services to pregnant women and new mums. It’s a rewarding role that allows you to interact with women at a very special stage of their lives, and you can make a real difference to their health outcomes. We love working with pregnant and post natal women, and with their kids, and we hope you will too.
You’ll be joining a young, growing and friendly team of massage therapists. You’ll also have a great deal of independence in your role and flexibility in your working hours. We can provide you with an immediate income, saving you the hassle of marketing and advertising your services. We also manage all the booking and payment processes using modern online systems, so you can simply show up at the client’s house and do what you do best. We’re looking for therapists with their own ABNs to contract services to – but don’t worry, we can provide you with assistance and advice on managing your financial obligations.
You will need to be a professional therapist with at least a diploma qualification. Experience or additional qualifications related to working with pregnant women are welcomed, but not essential. We’re looking for friendly, outgoing therapists who have a special interest in the field of pregnancy and post natal care. It’s pretty important that you’re good with kids, and comfortable having them around while working.
You will be working quite independently, so you will need the following:
- Car
- Massage table
- Professional insurance
- Smartphone (e.g. iPhone)
- Tablet computer (e.g. iPad) – desirable but not essential
